The app assigns your device a random Device ID (format FAST-XXXX-XXXX). Together with basic app data (platform, app version, subscription state) it is used to sync your playlist list, subscription status, and settings with our backend. If you add playlists through our web portal, the playlist details you enter (name, server address, credentials) are stored so your device can retrieve them.
We do not collect your name, email address (unless you contact support), precise location, advertising identifiers, or your viewing activity. What you watch never passes through our servers — playback connects directly from your device to your playlist provider.
If you submit a bug report, or if diagnostic logging is enabled for your device during a support case, technical logs (app events, error codes, device model, OS version) are sent to us. These logs never include playlist passwords or stream URLs.
Backend data is stored on our own servers in the EU. Diagnostic logs are capped per device and overwritten. You can request deletion of all data linked to your Device ID at any time.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Optional artwork/metadata and sports-guide information are fetched from public catalogue services using content titles only — never your identity. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Privacy questions or deletion requests: contact@fastplayer.co (include your Device ID from Settings).
